Frequently asked questions.

What happens at the first appointment?

Your first visit is a thorough, up to 60-minute virtual consultation where we explore your symptoms, health history, cycles, lifestyle factors, and goals.
We’ll review any past labs and order new labs if needed. Together, we’ll create a personalized, evidence-based plan (hormonal or non-hormonal) that feels right for you.

What happens at follow-up appointments?

Follow-up visits are up to 30 minutes and focus on fine-tuning your plan, reviewing lab results, adjusting medications or hormones when needed, and making sure you’re progressing steadily and comfortably.

What is included in a Quick GYN Visit?

Quick GYN Visits are 15-minute appointments for simple or time-sensitive concerns such as UTI symptoms, vaginal infections, birth control refills, medication questions, or minor follow-up needs.
These visits are available for established patients only.

Do you see patients in my state?

I am currently only accepting new patients in Arizona and New York.

Do you prescribe bioidentical hormones?

Yes. I prescribe FDA-approved bioidentical hormone therapies, including estrogen and progesterone, when clinically appropriate. Your treatment plan is personalized based on your symptoms, medical history, and goals, and we discuss both hormonal and non-hormonal options so you can choose what feels right for you.

What is your cancellation policy?

Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you.
To respect the needs of all patients:

  • Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance

  • Late cancellations are billed at 50% of the visit fee

  • No-shows are billed at the full visit fee

This policy allows me to continue offering longer, unrushed visits and maintain availability for patients who need care.

Billing & Payments

Do you accept insurance?

Her Vital Wellness is a private-pay practice and does not bill insurance directly.
This model allows for longer, more thoughtful visits, flexible treatment options, and care that isn’t limited by insurance restrictions or rushed appointment times.

Many patients appreciate the ability to receive care focused on their actual needs rather than what insurance covers.
After each visit, you may request a superbill to submit to your insurance provider for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

Can I use my HSA or FSA card?

Many HSA/FSA plans allow payment for telehealth services, but coverage varies by plan.
Please check with your HSA/FSA provider to confirm eligibility.

Do you accept Medicare or Medicaid?

Due to federal regulations, private-pay practices cannot provide care for patients who are covered under Medicare or Medicaid, even on a self-pay basis.
